Wayanad - Mananthavady - Sulthan Bathery - Calicut

Day 01: Calicut – Vythiri (Wayanad)
After your arrival at Calicut airport / railway station, you will be greeted by our transfer staff. You will then proceed towards Wayanad, in what will be an enthralling drive amidst the clouds and hills along the meandering Ghat pass road. There is an optional stop at Lakkidi view point, a vantage point to witness the astonishing terrain and the vast expanse of the mighty Western Ghats. After a second stop for a few minutes at the Chain Tree site along the national highway, you will arrive at one of the best Wayanad hotels and check-in. Afternoon visits will include Pookode Lake (Boating – optional) and Soochipara waterfalls. Overnight stay will be at The Woods Resort – Rose Wood Room

Day 02: Vythiri – Mananthavady – Vythiri
Your Wayanad trip continues into the second day with post-breakfast trips to Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest earth dam in India and the second largest in Asia, Pazhassi Raja Tomb and Pazhassi Raja Museum at Mananthavady. Another interesting part of your visit will be Kuruvadweep, which is a series of tiny islands on the Kabini River. This adventure site is open from 0930 am to 0330 pm with restricted entry on some days due to animal sightings. The islands are completely off limits during monsoon. After these visits, you will be heading back to The Woods Resort – Rose Wood Room

Day 03: Vythiri – Sulthan Bathery – Vythiri
The third day of our Wayanad tour packages will be starting with an early morning or post-breakfast trip to Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary. The reserve opens at 0630 am, which is an ideal time to see the wildlife. Later visits will include the Jain Temple, Edakkal Caves, Wayanad Heritage Museum and the Phantom Rock site, after which you will be returning to The Woods Resort – Rose Wood Room

Day 04: Wayanad – Calicut – Departure
After breakfast and check out, our cab services will transfer you to Calicut, during which there will be a short stop at Kappad Beach. You will be reaching Calicut airport / railway station in the evening.
